[isoc-ny] WEBCAST TODAY: Global Cyber Alliance Security & Trust in Email: DMARC Media Roundtable

ISOC-NY announcements announce at lists.isoc-ny.org

Back in April 2017 the Online Trust Alliance (OTA) was adopted
<https://otalliance.org/blog/new-chapter-ota> as an Internet Society
initiative. One of the OTA's bronze members is the Global Cyber Alliance
(GCA), who's co-founders include the London Police and the Manhattan DA's
office. This has led to further co-operation, and we are supporting them
in their current laudable DMARC push which, as noted below, is focused on
not just industry but government. In fact there is no more senior
cybersecurity US official than Jeanette Manfra, who is keynoting this
event. It's going to be interesting to hear what she has to say. Note there
will be two DMARC implementation webinars
<https://dmarc.globalcyberalliance.org/free-dmarc-webinar-sessions-learn-protect-brand.html>
on Wednesday. DMARC is the primary global defence against phishing.
