One doesn't normally associate Microsoft with Free/Open Source software
but they have been undergoing a seismic shift in their culture recently.
I just got this invite from Tereza Nemessanyi and would like to pass it
on ...
> A number of my colleagues and partners are coming in to NYC for an
> event this Wednesday, designed for open source developers. I would
> love to extend this free event to your community.
>
> Docker -- as you know -- is hot right now. It also creates great
> opportunities to leverage Microsoft's Azure cloud... and also to take
> advantage of the free Azure we are providing to high-growth startups
> built with OSS technologies.
>
> This Wed. 5/6, we will host a key engineer from Docker, Patrick
> Chanezon, who has deep experience in how it works. Alongside Patrick
> we'll have NYC startup Tutum. Tutum is doing great things in the
> Docket and Azure ecosystems.
>
> Devs with curiosity or deep questions should come ready to explore and
> discuss specifics.
>
> We would very much like to extend this invitation to the ISOC-NY
> community.
