In fact the same venue in Maputo next week hosts a <a href="http://www.afi-global.org/news/2015/8/24/countdown-maputo-mozambique-set-welcome-afi-network-2015-gpf" style="font-size:small">major conference</a> on the topic, which will also be webcast. But also yesterday, and thanks to Judith Hellerstein of our DC Chapter for bringing it to our attention, there was an event closer to home that marked a the release of a new report on the topic.. A panel looked specifically at the adoption of such technology by one certain underserved segment - women. Judith, who considers digital inclusion to be a topic that ISOC should pursue vigorously, recommends it.
