<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">First, kudos to Tom Lowenhaupt for being the only one to respond correcting my undeliberate mistake yesterday - "<i> ISOC-NY is an At-Large Structure in the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO)</i>" - of course I meant to say <i>"in ICANN's At-Large Organization"</i>!. We are also a member of the Noncommercial Constituency (NCUC) in the Non-Contracted Stakeholder Group (NCSG) in the GNSO. For those that don't know the difference, At-Large formally advises the ICANN Board on behalf of the Internet community "at-large", while the NCUC via the NCSG actually participates in the policy development process - before it ever gets to the board. Hope that's clear. Tom wins a free trip to Buenos Aires this week! Where he will be attending this Internet Society meeting tonight. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">In contrast to previous ISOC@ICANN meets tonight is more of a reception and mingling affair than a formal sit down, thus the possibility to participate remotely (via <a href="http://isoc.zoom.us/j/518640156">Zoom</a>) will be rather limited. Nevertheless it will be worth attending just to get the update on latest ISOC projects and <a href="https://www.internetsociety.org/intercommunity2015">InterCommunity 2015</a>. As noted it starts around 5:45 NYC time.
