</b>Fulbright's NY Chapter is holding a Women in Tech Panel on
"Quantifying the Impact of the Arts through Big Data" on Thurs,
May 14th, 7-9pm at The New School and we are looking for one more
panelist, preferably a female on the funding/policy side who can
speak towards the cultural sector. Details are below. If you or

<i>Women in Tech: Quantifying the Impact of the Arts
through Big Data</i><br>

What can big data tell us about the economic and social
impact of the arts? Fulbright NY and The New School
present leaders from the arts and technology sectors to
explore the issue. Panelists include longtime curator
Christiane Paul (currently New Media Arts Curator at the
Whitney Museum of American Art & Associate Dean of the
School of Media Studies at The New School), Debra Anderson
(designer of the Big Data Consumer Research course at The
New School & Co-Founder of Culture Shock), Rebecca
Davis (Fulbright NY Alumna-in-Residence and Executive
Director of MindLeaps), moderated by Josephine Dorado
(President of Fulbright NY Chapter & State Dept
TechCamp Trainer) and more to come. Discussion will
feature current trends as well as case studies based on
collaborations with Carnegie Mellon and Drexel University
researching the impact of the arts on cognitive
development and learning.<br>
