Intercommunity 2019 is this Thursday, October 24, from 9-10 am.  The topic
is "A Global Discussion on Community Networks," a subject of significant
interest to our Chapter.

Registration information is below.  Once you register, you will get Zoom
and call-in information.  I encourage you to register and participate!

Dear Gregory,

We are under one-week away from the Internet Society's virtual conversation
about community networks!

On Thursday, *24 October 2019 at 13:00 UTC*, Chapter and SIG
representatives of Community Network projects from Africa, South America
and Eastern Europe will share their insights on a range of topics.

*Who are the panelists?*

Sol Luca de Tena is currently the acting CEO for Zenzeleni community
networks not-for-profit company in South Africa, as well as the vice-chair
for the Internet Society’s global Special Interest Group in Community
Networks.

Nicolás Echániz is a member of AlterMundi. He has been involved in
Community Networks for over a decade. Nicolás co-designed the multi-radio
mesh network model that AlterMundi shares with communities willing to build
their own communications infrastructure.

Ucha Seturi is a lawyer and founding member of the Georgian Internet
Governance forum. He is the Coordinator of ISOC's Tusheti Community Network
project and as of 2018 he is the coordinator of the Pshav-Khevsureti CN
project.
