​Fwd from the NYEdTech list. I am sure many of us have old iron filling up
our closets. Why not use them to support local youth? Since TFY is a
501(c)3, all donations are tax-deductible.

PLZ Donate Old Computers to Techie Youth, working or not! NEEDED ASAP!

Techie Youth needs lots of computers for our 160+ students to take apart
and learn on ASAP - please donate your old desktops and laptops today - any
complete-computer would be appreciated, does not need to work so long as
all the parts are there for our youth to learn on.

Techie Youth ( http://www.TechieYouth.org ) is a non-profit charity that
provides free computer-tech skills training to foster kids and at-risk
youth of New York City.

Please drop off your computer(s) at our Long Island City classroom right
near the Queensboro-Plaza/Queens-Plaza/Queensbridge subway stations and the
Queens-side entrance to the Queensboro Bridge lower level.

To coordinate a drop-off time, please email us specifying what kind of
computer(s) you will be donating at:
