The New York Metro Chapter of the Internet Society (ISOC-NY)  wishes 
Season's Greetings to all!

We'd like to inform you of a couple of changes in our online presence, 
mention an important forthcoming event, and invite you to a holiday party.


==Website & Discuss Mailing List==

The ISOC-NY website has been changed to a new format. Utilizing the 
popular WordPress blogging software the site is an active forum for 
current Internet related issues, as formerly posted on the Chapter's 
'discuss' list.

Please feel free to register and leave comments. An RSS feed is available.

It is intended that the 'discuss' list be used solely to talk about 
Chapter projects and activities. What we have done is to unsub *ALL* 
former members of that list. If you wish to contribute as an an *ACTIVE* 
member of the Chapter re-subscribe at

consider posting a short introduction to yourself.

The New York Broadband Advisory Committee will hold it's third Public 
Hearing this Wednesday Dec 12th
in Manhattan. Please attend and make your voice heard on this important 
topic.
